ABOUT

AI x HK OpenCup (the OpenCup) marks its third consecutive year as an innovation-enriched platform, fostering the growth of young talents in addressing global challenges and driving social development through AI and other technologies. This year, the OpenCup 2024 will transform into a one-day bootcamp, seamlessly integrating immersive learning workshops and competitions, offering participants a unique opportunity to explore the realm of Generative AI (GenAI) and its applications while contributing valuable insights to the community.

As the first GenAI bootcamp for secondary school students in Hong Kong, the OpenCup 2024 provides engaging workshops where participants can learn the cutting-edge GenAI technology and acquire practical hands-on skills. With the aim of fostering innovation among secondary students, this bootcamp serves as a catalyst, inspiring participants to harness the power of AI technology and generate innovative solutions for social good within the context of Hong Kong.

Organised by Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), hosted by HKBU Department of Computer Science and supported by NVIDIA, the OpenCup 2024 is dedicated to harnessing the power of innovation and technology, fostering a culture of innovative thinking, and driving positive changes in our community.
